The brief
Training Packages is one of leading specialist providers of training supporting the Birth to Three Matters framework. Although a young company they are expanding and needed to introduce their brand into the market further.They approached us to build a site that enabled people to see what courses they were running and what parts of the country. It was important that the site portrayed a children based company theme with strong values without appearing too corporate.
The Solution
The first task was the logo design which was made simpler than the previous. This was to carry the colours seen on the site and keep their original 'package' indentity.The rest of the site, build over a database for regular updates via a control panel, gives very strightforward approach to searching for courses, booking a course, finding the appropriate area contact information as well as being able to apply to be a trainer.
Search engine optimisation was performed and within two weeks both Yahoo, Altavista and Alltheweb all ranked it number 1 and was rated highly on page 1 with other main search engines.
The site has been made to conform to AA W3C-WAI accessibility guidelines.
