The brief
UK Timber Supplier Twineham Timber approached us for a site to help sell timber that they obtain through environmentally friendly ways such as salvaging fallen trees from local forests and woods.They wanted a site that would not only assist in sales of the timber but one that would rank highly in the search engines organically.
The solution
We created a site that was in keeping with the rural feel but at the same time having an e-commerce edge - although no timber is to be sold on-line.Extra features included a timber calculator so that any potential client can determine the general cost of the timber by entering it dimensions.
The site is fully content managed by the company via our CMS modules including an area for writing articles for the in built information centre.
After just two weeks of going live the site was placed number 2 in www.yahoo.com for the term UK Timber Supplier. Other search engines are expected to follow suit.
